Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize technology effectively, including video conferencing software, email, spreadsheets, and Google Apps.

Requirements:

  • Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting or Business, or an Accounting Certificate.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years in bookkeeping.
    • At least 1 year of experience with QuickBooks Online.
    • Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient with QuickBooks Online or, at minimum, QuickBooks Desktop.
    • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Outsourced virtual bookkeeping company looking to add a bookkeeper to staff, part-time at first with a possibility of moving to full-time, with a flexible schedule.

Must be familiar with QuickBooks and willing to become a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Must have good computer skills and be extremely detail oriented. Proficiency in Excel is a plus.

Candidate will be responsible for ongoing bookkeeping tasks for assigned clients, which could include picking up and delivery of paperwork, along with tracking all financial transactions in QB, A/R, A/P, month-end journal entries, and monthly reports. Must work in our office at first, once fully trained can work at home if desired.
